Music is art. It's all relative to ones taste. Some think Bonham was best,others think Moon,Buddy Rich,Belson,Jimmy Gordon,Jeff Pocarro,Bernard Purdie and so many others.
In popular music(especially recorded) a drummers primary job is 1st METER! He sets the tempo, creates the dynamics and "pocket". The definition of "BEST" is better than all else. Not possible in music. Mic was an excellent drummer and did what was called for in his career which was pulled the track together. |
